1. The Service
BeezTime provides a shared world-time clock and a Calendly-style tool for publishing availability and booking meetings. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purpose;
- send spam, harvest data, or make automated or excessive requests (including automated bookings);
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure;
- infringe the rights of others or upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
4. Bookings
BeezTime helps hosts and guests coordinate meeting times. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, the meetings themselves, their content, attendance, outcome, or any third-party video platform used. Hosts and guests are solely responsible for their conduct and commitments. Booking availability, holds, and confirmations are provided on a best-effort basis.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the information you submit (e.g., meeting titles, availability, names). You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. You must have the right to share any personal data you enter about other people (such as a guest’s details).
6. Intellectual property
The BeezTime name, the BeezTime time model, the software, and the site design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Except as expressly permitted (for example, the embeddable clock widget), you may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (for example, authentication, calendar, email, hosting, and anti-abuse providers). Your use of those features may be subject to the third party’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. BeezTime’s alternative time model is provided for coordination and novelty; do not rely on it for safety-critical or legally-critical timing.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeezTime and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold BeezTime harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Meetings → “Delete my account & data”). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
